Albion engine – destined for a historic fire engine – is nearing the final stages of its total restoration. This intricate rebuild has seen the team carefully restore the engine to its original specification, preserving its character. Many missing parts were unnavailable which Formhalls reverse engineered from old black and white images. Now entering the test-running phase, the engine is performing well under bench trials and will soon be reunited with its chassis.
